I had some extra time to kill while I was in the Salt Lake City area for work, so I woke up entirely too early, packed my drone, and grabbed a coffee to catch the sunrise at Bonneville Salt Flats. The salt flats are thought to be a remnant of the Pleistocene Lake Bonneville and consist primarily of sodium chloride (table salt). If you're lucky, you can catch the flats with a small layer of water on top which turns them into a perfect mirror.
